Valerie Kent is planning a small group plein air painting trip to Newfoundland for mid July 2025.  Details will be coming soon.  If you are interested in joining this trip, please contact Valerie through this website and request information.                                                                                                                    Valerie Kent has facilitated workshops in France, Italy, and Canada.

She is experienced with acrylic, oil, watercolour, alcohol inks and mixed media.  She enjoys working with and encouraging

experimentation in the workshops.  She teaches at Trent University in Peterborough and at other colleges, art societies, schools, and other venues.

She juries art shows  (live and on line.) In September she will jury the Crossection Exhibition Central Ontario Arts Association.

In 2025 she will jury the Elora Plein Air Festival.

She exhibited in group and solo exhibitions in Canada, France, Italy, Korea, Japan, China, Holland and in April 2023 at the 35th International Fine Art Association Exhibition at the Insa Art Plaza Gallery in Seoul, Korea.

She exhibited at the International Pure American Cooperation Group Show in Korea and the Gallery on the Lake, Buckhorn and Ajax. Her work is at the Miskwaa Outdoor Art Gallery in Bobcaygeon, Ontario.
