Zahava Goldstein ( Purple Hamsa) is a self-taught artist who was raised in Israel. She works with a variety of mediums, including painting, ceramics, paper-cutting, jewelry design, and handmade felted crafts.
She enjoys putting her hands to the materials with which she expresses her feelings.
Zahava loves taking functional items and turning them into lively works of art for others to enjoy. She loves creating personalized pieces and commissioned artwork in all mediums. Her work is full of Jewish cultural references, bright colours, modern folk art, flowers, Hamsas and always leaves you feeling happier.
At Get2Give Glassworks, the ancient art of Fused Glass is re-imagined. Each one-of-a-kind piece is meticulously crafted using layered colored glass and mixed media, then fired in a kiln at up to 1,500°F. The result is a dynamic interplay of smooth and sculptural surfaces, flowing curves and sharp angles, and rich, contrasting colors. The emerging works are contemporary, elegant, and vibrant—ranging from sculpture, gifts and Judaica to striking wall-mounted art.
